Position Description:

Derive business processes, analyze user needs, assist in requirements definition, design research plans, and conduct all necessary user research

Elicit business goals and user needs from stakeholders

Facilitate customer discovery sessions

Collaborate with UX design resources to create Journey Maps, Personas and Scenarios of Use

Basic Skills Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and 7 Years of relevant work experience OR Master's degree and 5 Years of relevant work experience as a User Experience Researcher or a minimum of 11 years related experience in lieu of a degree.

Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical topics as well as interface with the customer on a daily basis

Minimum of 6 years of formal user research experience utilizing User-Centered Methods and User Analysis

Other Certifications: UX Master Certification (NNG), UX Design Immersive (General Assembly)

Must provide a digital portfolio of research work highlighting methodologies for review

Must be able to obtain a Public Trust

Required Skills:

Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical topics as well as interface with the customer on a daily basis

Minimum of 6 years of experience documenting user requirements, user needs (and pain points), and UX recommendations

Minimum of 6 years of experience in designing and conducting formative various user research tests (including user interviews, contextual inquiry, card sorting, usability tests, and others) in both formal and informal settings

Minimum of 6 years of experience preparing and presenting findings and recommendations in small and large group settings

Desired Skills:

Experience with Pega and/or ServiceNow platforms

Experience with the Agile/Scrum methodology

Prior experience supporting government agencies

Understanding of Section 508 and its requirements regarding design

Education/Work Experience:
