Job Description/Position Description:

Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

Work with highly experienced and technical resources

Key Required Skills:

Experience as an IT Technical Project Manager,Knowledge, familiarity with IT platform and IT Services, Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks as needed with projects.

Project Management Certification is a MUST

Basic Requirements/Qualifications:

BS degree and 12 years of prior relevant experience or master's with 10 years of prior relevant experience.

7 years of experience as an IT Technical Project Manager developing and implementing Project Management Plans.

Experience in Agile methodology and related management tools (Confluence, Jira, Kanban, VersionOne/Agility.)

Adept knowledge in developing project management artifacts such as detailed project plans/schedules with dependencies

Experience leading projects related to Software Development in a large corporation or federal government agencies.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills including presentation skills.

Experience with cross team collaboration with groups or organizations outside project team you led.

Ability to collaborate in a team environment, including with organizations/projects outside your own

Required Skills:

Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision

Ability to lead tasks related to researching project-related issues and challenges

Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies

Demonstrate ability to analyze risks and uncertainties

Demonstrate ability to navigate projects through established processes.

Knowledge of Agile Development methodologies.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Analyzing and responding to requirements

Developing and leading presentations

Be exposed to resource management skills and schedules

Ability to communicate with Executives on progress, status and risks about the project

Ability to work with different teams, and sponsors.

Project management certification is MUST

Desired Skills:

Experience with management tools (Confluence, Jira, Kanban, VersionOne/Agility, Microsoft Project.)

Knowledge and experience with Cloud Services, IT Service Management tools, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity implementations.

Experience with Development technologies like Angular, Spring boot, Java, service oriented architecture, business driven development.

Education/Work Experience:

BS degree and 12 years of prior relevant experience or master's with 10 years of prior relevant experience.
