Job Description:
This position will be responsible for managing complex and cross-functional projects.
This position is both technical and managerial, and tends to cross many IT and business lines, requiring coordination and influence. In addition to technical expertise, this position requires a customer-focused individual with excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation) both with teammates as well as management, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals across the organization.
When managing programs, oversees the interdependencies and integration of interrelated projects, and sets strategies and leads program execution to deliver longer term business value. Will possess specialized knowledge of SDLC (Agile/Scrum/SAFE) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL/ITSM) frameworks used to manage incidents, change, problem, risks, and issues unique to technology projects (Cloud and OnPrem). Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without and/or minimal direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. Often actively manages stakeholder partnerships and mitigates risks. Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
This individual will handle many projects simultaneously and will also work heavily with Infrastructure Engineering, SRE, DevOps & other Product Owners across the enterprise
Requires SDLC experience and experience working with teams that have deployed to the Cloud and OnPrem DC in an Agile environment
Direct large-scale, complex projects involving cross-functional teams; including internal teams and third-party vendors
Work in Azure/AWS Cloud and OnPrem DC environments
Status updates: manage communication to all groups including working team, stakeholders, peripheral teams, and leadership. Create updates and deliver updates when appropriate
Project scope: understand the project ask, dive into root cause including processes and potential business improvements and ensure all stages of project are met (requirements, design, funding, build, etc.).
Financials: put together budget, get approvals from business and IT stakeholders, build business case, submit accurate monthly forecasts, manage the budget
Project schedule: develop and maintain project schedule. Own the schedule to make sure all relevant teams stay on track
Define and track project milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation and reporting)
Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or ITIL/ITSM Certification
2+ years managing Cloud projects
ADO (Azure DevOps) and Kanban
Vendor Management and working in Managed Service Provider (MSP) framework
10 or more years of technical and project management experience
Demonstrated experience in practical implementation of Project and Program IT solutions
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Business Administrations
Agile Coach/Scrum Master certification
Experience in the health solutions industry
