Sr. AV Programmer

Hanover, MD

The programmer will code, develop UI layouts, troubleshoot, and assist commissioning for a variety AV projects. 

This position will require travel (around the DMV) to client sites and the ability to occasionally work nights and weekends to meet project deadlines.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coding control system processors, building and coding UI layouts, and building DSP files.

Loading files, testing functionality, and working with an engineer to close-out projects.

Applying their valuable experience as they become proficient with our evolving processes.

Troubleshooting software challenges that arise for the Service team.

Respecting of diverse points-of-view, open to direction, and self-motivated.

Striving for an environment in which inclusiveness drives productivity and quality results.

Operating as a team member within the AV department.

REQUIREMENTS:

7+ years in a similar role.

Multiple years of experience with coding, UI building, and DSP development in commercial environments.

Proficient in Crestron, AMX, Q-SYS, Extron, Atlona, Biamp, and QSC software and hardware.

Ability to multitask with strong computer, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to read & understand architectural drawings and line diagrams.

Strong experience working closely with teammates to accomplish common goals.

Strong experience with audiovisual network protocols (Dante, AVB, NDI, AVoIP, etc.).

Strong experience with digital video/audio transmission and protocols.

One of the following Industry certifications: Crestron, AMX, Extron, Biamp, QSC, Clearone, Shure, Polycom, Cisco, AVIXA etc.
