IT Business Analyst

Job Description

We are looking to hire an IT Business Analyst. You will be the bridge between product management, quality assurance, and the technical team. In this role you will work with employees across the country, working to create product and IT solutions. This role will be worked on a hybrid schedule but will start out on site so the candidate can get acclimated appropriately.

REQUIREMENTS:

7+ years’ experience as an IT Business Analyst and degree in a related field.

Experience developing products and working in an Agile environment.

Experience maintaining products and sprint backlogs.

Proven experience in defining requirements and working with stakeholders.

Experience creating process documentation.

Experience with Linux and Quality Assurance would be a plus.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead sessions using variety of requirements gathering methods such as interviews, documentation analysis, surveys, site visits, business models with executives, managers, and developers.

Perform gap analysis on existing state of requirements in conjunction with current business needs.

Focuses on process analysis and re-engineering, with an understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to the current and future business environment.

Translates customer requirements into functional requirements for the development team.

Provides guidance and/or mentoring to junior staff members
