Business Analyst

Business Analyst that comes from the financial industry and understands trading. In this role you will work on the Order Modeling Team, where you will work closely with stakeholders, and developers to gather and translate requirements around proprietary financial software.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Applies a lean-agile mind-set to work and supports organizational agility.

Active participation throughout the software development process.

Using questions and proposals to clarify requirements when unclear.

Independently works with domain experts on low to medium complexity work to ensure clarity of the problem/opportunity and elicit business requirements.

Working closely with a variety of internal business partners to ensure that all business requirements are understood, documented, and met.

Creating and organizing documentation such as project inception & technical architecture diagrams.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field.

8+ years’ experience in a similar role.

Gathering requirements, translating requirements, and working with C-Level executives.

Previous experience in the financial industry and understanding trading and the stock market.

Understands fixed income, and multi assets.

Experience with a Central Registration Depository (CRD), such as Charles River, BlackRock Aladdin, etc.

Able to manage projects.

SQL – understanding of basic SQL queries.

API - Understanding of how API’s work, access, and use via Postman.

Software Testing and Documentation experience.

Proficiency in MS Visio, MS Excel and Data Analysis.

PREFFERED:

Previous experience as a developer.

Can read and understand code in C#.
